This small, curated display features a variety of materials from the Library’s newly acquired personal papers collection of the New York based Cubano author Oscar Hijuelos (1951–2013). Hijuelos was the first Hispanic American awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, in 1990, for his novel, "Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love" (1989).
