The brilliant German-Austrian composer Brigitta Muntendorf will be featured in a D.C. premiere of her work Trilogy for Two Pianos. Winner of the German Record Critics’ Award in 2023 for contemporary classical music, Trilogy will be performed by pianists Ning Yu and Cory Smythe, along with computer musicians and sound engineers Levy Lorenzo and Jeff Svatek. In a return to a concert format debuted last year, the performance of Muntendorf’s work will be followed by a discussion with the composer and performers onstage with a Library curator. As a prelude, violinist Chris Otto will join Ning Yu in a performance of a work for violin and piano. You won’t want to miss this chance to hear music from the European vanguard.

Presented in association with WorldPride Washington, DC 2025.

This concert will include a conversation onstage with the composer and performers.

Tickets available for this event starting at 10am on Wednesday, March 12th
