Experience the dynamic artistry of Grammy-nominated and 2024 NAACP Image Award winner Brandee Younger, a celebrated harpist, composer, and educator who stands as a leading voice for the harp today. Described by The New York Times as combining “all of the modern harp traditions — from Salzedo, through Dorothy Ashby, through Alice Coltrane — with such strength, grace, and commitment,” Younger brings her innovative sound to the Library of Congress. Joined by her quartet, featuring vocalist Tatiana “LadyMay” Mayfield, Younger promises an unforgettable evening showcasing the melodic versatility of the harp.
