Over the course of a three-year funding cycle for the Community Collections Grant program, the American Folklife Center awarded over two dozen grants to individuals and organizations across the United States supporting cultural documentation projects anchored in a community perspective. For this two-day symposium we have invited representatives from ten of the projects to share their work in a public setting through panels, moderated conversations, and documentary screenings. Please join us in celebrating the dynamic work done by these community-centered teams!

Location: Mumford Room (LM-649), James Madison Building, 101 Independence Avenue, Washington, D.C. 20540
