(Feb. 2, 2008) The members of the Dzhogorku Kenesh, the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, will be forbidden to use cell phones during legislative sessions under an amendment to the rules of procedure. A majority of the members voted for the new provision on January 24, 2008. In addition, the members approved a rule under which they will wear business attire in the Parliament, for official activities.
