(Mar. 2, 2008) In its meeting on February 18, 2008, the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers condemned the eulogizing in one of the local Shiite religious places of gathering (Husseiniya) of Imad Mughniyah, a military leader of Hizbullah, in a ceremony attended by two Kuwaiti Members of Parliament. After the meeting, the State Minister for the Council of Ministerial Affairs, Faisal al-Hujji, indicated that the competent authorities are taking the necessary legal action, describing Mughniyah as "a terrorist with innocent blood on his hands." (Mughniyah Is a Terrorist and His Eulogy Is a Provocation, AL-QABAS, Feb. 19, 2008.)
