- Papers of Eugenio María de Hostos include correspondence, a diary, writings, printed matter, photographs, and other papers relating chiefly to his work as a Puerto Rican nationalist dedicated to an independent Puerto Rico, from Spain and later from the U.S., and to the formation of a union of Antillean states to include Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Dominican Republic. Correspondents include Carribean nationalists such as Ramón Emeterio Betances and Gregorio Luperón.
- Papers of his son, Eugenio Carlos de Hostos, include correspondence, writings, family papers, printed matter, photographs, and other papers pertaining chiefly to his father's life; the Hostos family; the family estate in Sotomayor, Pontevedra, Spain; civilian life in the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939; and to Eugenio Carlos's World War I service with the Porto Rico Regiment of Infantry, renamed the U.S. Army 65th Infantry Regiment, in Panama, as well as with the U.S. Army intelligence service in Colombia, Guatemala, and Panama. Correspondents include Juan Bosch, Federico Henríquez i Carvajal, and Luis Muñoz Rivera, as well as members of the allied Hostos, MacCormick, and Noble families.
