  • -  Bishop Zumárraga has informed the Queen of the capabilities of the Indian boys trained in the monasteries and of the formation of a college for 70 of them. The Queen commands the Viceroy to determine if they can be aided from the royal resources in New Spain. The bishop has also informed her of the communities of Indian girls who are being trained in the Christian life. She commands the Viceroy to give material support to the pious women who are teaching them.
