Mary Roach is the author of six New York Times bestsellers, including “Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers,” “Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void” and “Grunt: The Curious Science of Humans at War.” Her newest book, “Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law” (Norton), was one of Bookpage’s Most Anticipated Nonfiction Books of 2021. Roach has written essays and articles for publications such as The New York Times, National Geographic, Wired, Vogue and GQ. She has received numerous honors, including the Harvard Secular Society’s Rushdie Award and the American Engineering Society’s Engineering Journalism Award.
