Biography Vladimir Sokolov

Vladimir Sokolov was born in Likhoslavl, Russia, in 1928. He wrote numerous poetry collections, including Morning on the Road (1953), Grass Under Snow (1958), and On the Sunny Side (1961). His honors include the N. Vaptsarov International Prize, the International Lermontov Prize, and the A. Pushkin Russian State Prize. He died in 1997.
