Biographies Patricia McConnel (1932-)

Patricia McConnel was born in Baltimore in 1932. She is a writer best known for her autobiographical novel, Sing Soft, Sing Loud (1989). She has been honored with two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, and her short story, “The Avarian,” was selected as one of the ten best PEN short stories of 1984. She lives in Arizona.
