An accomplished scholar of Confucianism and neo-Confucianism, Peng is Qiu Shi Distinguished Professor of Chinese Philosophy, Intellectual History and Religions at Zhejiang University. As a scholar-in-residence at the Kluge Center Peng continued his research on the religious dimensions of Confucianism and the political and social thought of contemporary Confucianism.
