January 5, 2000 Symposium on British-American Relations To Be Held

The Library of Congress and Oxford University Press will sponsor a symposium on the history of British-American relations on Monday, January 10, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Mumford Room, sixth floor, Madison Building, 101 Independence Ave. S.E. The symposium is free and open to the public.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Library of Congress exhibition "John Bull and Uncle Sam: Four Centuries of British-American Relations," on view through March 4, and the publication of the new Oxford History of the British Empire.
