On February 15, the Library of Congress is reopening to the public the entrance of the James Madison Memorial Building located at First and C Streets S.E. Hours of entry at that entrance, as well as at the main entrance on Independence Avenue S.E., are from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The building, along with all other Library of Congress facilities, is closed on Sundays and federal holidays.

The reopening of this entrance will make it easier for members of the public using the Capitol South Metrorail stop (blue and orange lines), which is located diagonally across the street, to enter the Library.
