Sir Martin Gilbert, one of the world's most popular historians of the modern era, will give a free lecture about Winston Churchill and D-day at the Library of Congress at Noon, Friday, April 30, in room LJ-119 of the Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First Street S.E., Washington, D.C.

Gilbert is the author of more than 70 books and is best known for his monumental biography of Winston Churchill.
