July 17, 2006 Partial Closing of the Jefferson Building: July 20

A special event will close the Jefferson Building's Great Hall, public exhibition space and the Sales Shop until noon on Thursday, July 20. With exception for people with disabilities, the west front carriage entrance also will be closed to the public and staff during those hours. Jefferson Building reading rooms are accessible via Southeast entrance of the Jefferson Building (along 2nd Street) and via the tunnels from the Madison and Adams buildings and will remain open. Public tours will be offered at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
