June 28, 2010 Independence Day Holiday Hours of Operation

During the Independence Day holiday weekend, the following schedule will apply to the Library of Congress:

• On Saturday, July 3, all Library reading rooms and buildings will be open as regularly scheduled.
• On Sunday, July 4, the Library will be closed as regularly scheduled.
• On Monday, July 5, only the Great Hall and exhibitions in the Thomas Jefferson building will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All other buildings, including all reading rooms, will be closed to researchers and the general public in observance of the federal Independence Day holiday.
• On Tuesday, July 6, the Library will resume regular operational hours of all buildings and reading rooms.
