February 9, 2018 Library Expected to Open Feb. 9
Federal funding has lapsed and the federal government is shut down. However, following Congressional action, a final funding measure has been sent to the President for signature.
The Library of Congress is expected to open on Friday, February 9, after the President has signed the bill. If so, Library's buildings will be open to the public and its services available normally, and all public events are expected to go on as scheduled.
