Members of the public will have the opportunity to learn more about Congress.gov and give feedback on the website at the next Congress.gov Public Forum hosted by the Library of Congress on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
Congress.gov is the authoritative source for U.S. federal legislative information and is greatly enhanced by public feedback. The Library encourages everyone interested in legislative data, from experienced Congress.gov users to those who may be new to tracking federal legislative activity, to join either in person at the Library or via Zoom. Registration for those who would like to attend in person at the Library’s Madison Building is available here. Online participants can register here.
In addition to presentations on enhancements made over the past year, many of which were in response to user feedback, participants will hear from the legislative branch data partners about how legislative information is gathered and made available to the public. The forum will also feature live Q&A and discussion segments for participants to learn more and offer their ideas for future enhancements.
The forum is intended to solicit input from the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A and discussion segments. Additionally, users who would like to submit feedback in writing may do so before and after the event using the Congress.gov Public Forum Survey Form.
Video recordings of previous public forums can be found at Congress.gov.
