January 3, 1996 Library of Congress Traveling Exhibit on Plantation Life Opens at Martin Luther King Library January 10

The Library of Congress traveling exhibit on plantation life will open Jan. 10 at the Martin Luther King Memorial Library, 901 G Street NW. The exhibit, "Cultural Landscape of the Plantation," will remain on display there through Feb. 11.
Its next venue is the Historical Society of Talbot County, 25 S. Washington Street, Easton, Md., where it will open Feb. 17.
