- - How did you choose the materials used in your quilt? "I like the crispness and simplicity of solid-colored fabrics, and chose the colors of fabrics I found pleasing together. I chose cotton fabric for the quality I wanted."

- - What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "Personal recognition and goal."
