  • -  How did you choose the materials used in your quilt? "I chose a variety of cotton fabrics in colors that would appeal to my sister."
  • -  What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "The title 'If Quilts Could Talk' appealed to me so I entered this particular competition. I don't usually enter my quilts in competitions."
  • -  How long have you been making quilts? How did you learn to quilt? "13 years. My mother was a quilter and she kept a box of scraps that I can remember sorting through as a child."
  • -  Has being a winner in the Land's End contest made a difference in your life? Has it changed the way you look at your work as a quilt maker? "It has not really made a difference in my life. I continue to make quilts for those I love and winning a contest doesnÆt change the reason I quilt. Of course, it is nice to have others approve of your work!"
