Notes

  • -  About 1902 I was being regularly (shaved) by an old Englishman named Brown?? About 70 years old who had the shop in the old Astor House. He had a white handled razor which always seemed to work smooth on my face. One day I asked him how much he would take for it. He said $3.50. As I paid him he said, - "Don't suppose I ought to part with that razor because I shaved Abraham Lincoln many times with that blade." W. R. Wengrovins, D. D. S., Aeolian Building, N. Y. C.
