Both his first book for children, "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus," and his fourth book, "Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale," won prestigious Caldecott Honors, and most of his books land on the New York Times best-seller list. His recent books include "Edwina: The Dinosaur Who Didn't Know She Was Extinct," Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late!" and "You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When It Monsoons: The World on One Cartoon a Day" -- all 2006 publications from Hyperion. He lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.
