  • -  Lisa Scottoline's New York Times best-selling novels draw on her experiences as a trial lawyer and a judicial clerk in the state and federal justice systems. She wrote her first novel, "Everywhere That Mary Went" (1994), while serving as an administrative law clerk. She has now written more than 14 legal suspense novels, including "Daddy's Girl" (HarperCollins, 2007). More than 9 million copies of her novels are in print, in more than 20 languages. Recipient of an Edgar Award, she lives in the Philadelphia area where she teaches a class called ¿¿¿Justice and Fiction¿¿¿ at her alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
