Thomas is the best-selling author of seven works of nonfiction: "Sea of Thunder," "John Paul Jones," "Robert Kennedy," "The Very Best Men," "The Man to See," "The Wise Men" and his latest, "The War Lovers: Roosevelt, Lodge, Hearst and the Rush to Empire" (Little Brown). He lives in Washington, D.C.
