  • -  Marisha Pessl is the author of "Night Film" and "Special Topics in Calamity Physics," her best-selling debut, which was awarded the Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize and selected as one of the Ten Best Books of the Year by The New York Times Book Review. "Night Film" was named a best book by NPR, Cosmopolitan and Bookpage, and is currently in development with Chernin Entertainment at 20th Century Fox. Her books have been published in more than 25 languages. Pessl has recently published "Neverworld Wake" (Delacorte). She lives with her husband and two children in New York City.
