About this Item
Title
- Presidential Sites Summit
Summary
- Every four years the White House Historical Association (WHHA) convenes the Presidential Sites Summit, bringing together leading presidential historians to discuss insight into the management and outreach of presidential libraries, historic homes, and museums. Attendees represent institutions from all regions of the country and from across the spectrum of the historical profession. Primarily, these professionals work at institutions that have as their mission the lives and times of a President and or First Lady of the U.S.; provide stewardship and regularly exhibit or make available to the public a presidential collection or property; or offer educational programs and provide opportunities for research and scholarship. The Summit is far-reaching and inclusive of all entities that focus on presidential or White House history.
