LC Staff at ALA Meetings

Library of Congress employees will speak or otherwise represent the Library at the following events during the American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington, DC, June 20-25, 2019. Events are presented in chronological order after the Highlights.

In addition to events listed here, the Library of Congress is hosting an Open House for all ALA attendees on Saturday evening, 5:00-8:00 pm, in the historic spaces of the Thomas Jefferson Building. More than 40 Library of Congress divisions will have displays highlighting their programs and services to libraries and library users. The open house will be followed at 9:00 pm by a screening of the film National Treasure 2 on the north lawn of the Jefferson Building. Highlights

Visit the Library of Congress Pavilion #2705 in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center External, 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC. The Library of Congress’s pavilion manager is Michelle Spezzacatena.
