Eight institutions and their partners received awards totaling almost $15 million from the Library as part of the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program. -

A new collection of personal narratives of former prisoners of war is now available online through the Library's Veterans History Project. -

A new encyclopedia of the Library of Congress, an authoritative reference work with new essays, articles and statistical appendices, will be published in December. -
