The Library is developing a new privately funded, interactive experience for visitors to coincide with the opening of the Capitol Visitor Center in 2007. -
THE FUTURE OF CATALOGING
Library staff are collaborating with the broader library community to determine how best to meet the challenges of new technology as they affect the discipline of cataloging. -
FABULOUS CALLIGRAPHY
A collection of Arabic, Persian and Ottoman script calligraphy dating from the 8th to 19th centuries is now available online in the Library's Global Gateway site. -
TOUR DE FORCE
The Library's "Song of America" tour, featuring baritone Thomas Hampson, brought concerts, exhibitions, classes and films to 11 cities across the United States. -
FILLING THE HALLS WITH MUSIC
The Library has announced its 2006-2007 concert season. -

A new online Performing Arts Encyclopedia offers information on the Library's collections in music, theater and dance. -
