    From Virginia to Vermont : a trek from slavery to freedom, Catalog Record Only Jane Beck delivered an illustrated powerpoint lecture about the life and family stories of Daisy Turner, daughter of former slave Alec Turner (1845-1923), who had lived in Virginia, escaped to freedom, and eventually settled in Vermont.
