Brit Herring has voiced characters for Saturday morning cartoon shows such as Pokemon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Yu-Gi-Oh! and has worked extensively in the commercial market.
As a theater artist, Brit has appeared Off-Broadway in Shel Silverstein’s The Devil and Billy Markham at SoHo Playhouse and in Paradise on Theater Row. Regionally, he has acted with Arena Stage, Everyman Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Guthrie Theater, the Kennedy Center, Washington Stage Guild, Infinity Theatre Company, Washington Shakespeare Company, and many others.
Brit received his MFA from Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting at the George Washington University and trained with the British American Theatre Institute. Some of his favorite books he has narrated for NLS include Larry P. Johnson’s And That’s How I See It (DB85062), Ian McEwan’s Nutshell (DB85715), and Jack Viertel’s The Secret Life of the American Musical (DB84872).
