Getting a book description

Once you select a title from a book list such as your Wish list, or one of your bookshelves, you can get more information about the book to help you decide if you want to read it. After selecting a book from a list, say “Details” or “Description” without using the wake word. The system will read the title, author, narrator, length, DB number, series, annotation, and genre. If you say “Play” or “Read,” the book you selected will begin streaming.

Getting a book annotation

After selecting a book from a list, say “Summary.” The system will read the annotation of the book to provide more information.

Getting a book navigation structure while playing the book

While listening to a book you can ask your smart speaker for the structure of the book. This description can be used to learn how to set navigation levels for moving around the book. To get the structure while listening to a book say “Lady A, pause.” Your smart speaker will ask “What now?” The say “Structure.”

Navigating a book using the book structure

When asking for a book structure, your smart speaker will return information such as “The title of this audiobook is (title), author (author name). It is structured on 3 levels. At level 1, there are 5 stories. At level 2, there are 15 parts. At level 3 there are 60 chapters.” You can use this breakdown to navigate through the book. Use words such as “stories,” “parts,” and “chapters” to navigate. Say “Lady A, next story,” “Lady A, next chapter,” or “Lady A, previous part.”
