Full name MXF Generic Container with Uncompressed Video Essence YUY2 (yuv2)
Description

MXF file with the Generic Container implementation for uncompressed video, with a picture essence structure identical to that identified by the FOURCC code YUY2. In the SMPTE MXF specification (ST 377-1), the structure is identified using the Apple four-character code yuv2. This picture data is typically associated with soundtrack essences and, as available, timecode, closed captioning, and other elements.
