Mission Statement

The Florida Humanities Center for the Book is a program of Florida Humanities and the state affiliate of the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress. Our mission is to provide public programming and funding opportunities for Florida cultural organizations and nonprofits to share a love and appreciation of literature, literacy and learning.
