Program National Book Festival

2010

“Thanks to Mr. [David] Rubenstein and all of our sponsors and supporters, this national tradition will continue for years to come.”

– Dr. James Billington, Librarian of Congress

In 2010, the Board of the National Book Festival was established with Dr. Billington and David Rubenstein as co-chairs. Rubenstein donated $5 million to the National Book Festival to help fund the event for another 5 years.
