The African & Middle Eastern Division also regularly organizes programs and events. These events range from research and collection orientations to hosting diplomatic visits from our countries of coverage as well as specialized lectures on contemporary topics of interest to the scholarly community and the public at large. All are welcome to participate in our virtual and in-person programs, and meet the experts and authors specializing in a broad array of areas relating to Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
