Published guides and handouts about the Library’s collections can be useful when beginning research. This selected material includes Manuscript Division publications, inventories, bibliographies, guides, calendars, indices, and other resources describing the Manuscript Division’s collections.
Published Guides
Note that some resources, including card indexes to selected collections, are only available in the Manuscript Reading Room. Most presidential collections include an index to correspondence, which may be found under "Expert Resources" for the corresponding digital collections and in the bibliographic descriptions and catalog records.
