There are information booths just inside the Jefferson building entrance to help you find your way to the Rare Book Division.

Reference queries and appointment requests should be sent to the Rare Book and Special Collection Reading Room through Ask a Librarian.
Walk-in requests: To receive requested materials at a posted delivery time (9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM), requests must be submitted at least an hour beforehand. Requests for the last delivery of the day must be submitted by 2:00pm. All requests submitted after 2:00pm will be paged for the following day.
