  • Only know complete copy of this Latin version of the French Danse macabre in a North American Library. One of the first books to list printer, publisher, and date on the title page. Considered one of the most attractive French illustrated books printed before 1500. This edition is also important for woodcut images were based on a painting in the Cemetery of the Innocents, Paris, which have since been destroyed.
