Its Brazilian materials, Haitian imprints, and annual ministerial reports from all countries are particularly extensive. Latin American Open Archives Portal (LAOAP) External Link

This portal provides access to social sciences grey literature produced in Latin America by research institutes, nongovernmental organizations and other organizations in the form of working documents, pre-prints, research papers, statistical documents, and other difficult-to-access materials. These research publications are generally not available from commercial publishers. Majority of publications are in Spanish so for best search results use Spanish keywords. You may browse all research publications by contributing institutions.External Link

Public Affairs Information Service International provides citations to over 3,600 journal articles, books, hearings, reports, grey literature, government publications, Internet resources, and other publications from over 120 countries. Retrospective material dates from the early twentieth century through the mid-1970s. PAIS includes coverage of publications in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish with English language abstracts and subject headings that deal with public affairs. Links to web resources and publisher websites. Newspapers and newsletters are not indexed. Business and economics researchers seeking information about the history of economic and social policy of Latin American countries will be well served by this resource.

This 20th century manuscript library is "particularly strong in documenting the subject areas of public and international finance, economic development, United States foreign economic policies, and economic policies in Latin America" according to a fuller description of the collections.
