This page provides numerous resources that include international economic, and trade data and statistics. These sources provide country, regional and global data. The global data and statistical resources listed in this section consist of data from government agencies, academic and independent research institutions, and international organizations.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics produces international data on international trade and labor. The web site provides links to Import and Export Prices, Foreign Labor Statistics and to the International Labor Statistics Center.

DataWeb U.S. International Trade Commission

USITC DataWeb provides U.S. merchandise trade and tariff data in a user friendly web interface. Trade data for 1989 to the present are available on a monthly, quarterly, annual, or year-to-date basis and can be retrieved using a sophisticated querying tool with features such as user defined country and commodity groups.

Since 1827, The JOC has been and information and marketing services provider for the domestic and international containerized cargo community. This is a news publication whose readership is very interested in international trade. The site can be searched but the Channels (maritime, ports, trucking, logistics, air cargo, rail/intermodal, etc) can be a quick way to limit a researchers universe. There are White Papers which can be free but you do have to provide your information. Under the quick link are Data Stores which are a quick way to get to stories that the publication has indicated have statistics. There are also videos, podcasts, and web casts. Some content and articles are free others are available to subscribers. Part of the JOC Group.

Provided by the U.S. Census Bureau, USA Trade Online (UTO) is a dynamic data tool that gives users access to current and cumulative U.S. export and import data for over 18,000 export commodities and 24,000 import commodities. UTO provides trade statistics using the Harmonized System (HS) up to the 10-digit level and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) commodity classification codes up to the 6-digit level.
