Seagram County Court House Archives Collection

Request to Publish, Display, or Otherwise Distribute Images

Permission from the Library of Congress is required to publish, distribute, or display photographs in the Seagram County Court House Archives Collection. Permission will be granted where conformity with the following guidelines is assured. Please read and complete this form and submit it to Mari Nakahara, Curator of Architecture, Design, and Engineering (email: [email protected]).

Guidelines for Publication:

1. All prints from the original negatives shall be reproduced in their entirety, and prints or reproductions thereof may not be cropped or altered in any way. Nothing may be superimposed on the photographs or reproductions thereof (i.e., lettering, another image, or other materials).
2. Prohibited are use for advertising purposes, or for the purpose of trade, such as, for example, labeling, promoting, or merchandising any goods or services, and use in any inappropriate manner, such as for example, a use which may injure, deface or destroy the photographs in the Collection, or which may be obscene, scandalous, or defamatory, or cause embarrassment, annoyance, or nuisance.
3. Any use of photographs from the Collection shall carry an appropriate copyright notice (never superimposed on the image), and the following credit line:
   (Name of photographer), Seagram County Court House Archives, Library of Congress, [reproduction number, e.g., LC-S35-TP35-1]
