Rosa Parks: In Her Own Words

This tour offers an intimate view of Rosa Parks’s life in activism through materials drawn extensively from the Rosa Parks Collection, a gift to the Library of Congress from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.

Times

Group tours are available by request Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10 am for groups of 10 or more. Please use the group tour request form.

Location

The Thomas Jefferson Building is located on First Street SE, between Independence Avenue and East Capitol Street. Public tours begin at the entrance to the exhibition on the second floor of the Thomas Jefferson Building.

Accessibility

The Library buildings are fully accessible. A limited number of wheelchairs are provided at the Jefferson Building ground floor information desk.
