Does the Publishing Office consider unsolicited manuscripts and proposals?

The Publishing Office rarely considers unsolicited manuscripts or proposals. Most new projects are developed internally. Prospective authors interested in developing proposals for new works that focus directly on the Library’s collections, history, and activities may contact LC Books to learn more about the proposal process.

How do I get permission to reprint material from your publications?

Contact LC Books to request permission to reproduce material in Library of Congress publications.

Do you offer internships?
